Our skills cover product design, mechanical, electronics and software design, physics and optics, with particular expertise in photonics and systems engineering. Wideblue has successfully designed several first-of-a-kind products. Our clients are individuals, start-ups, technology research organisations, charities, social enterprises, and global multinationals. Our diverse skill set and strength in photonics provide our clients with a complete end-to-end design and manufacturing service.
Our parent group, Pivot International, supports Wideblue at all stages of the development cycle and beyond, allowing seamless transfer to manufacturing in locations around the world, including low cost. Pivot also supports Wideblue with incremental engineering support when needed, using its 120-strong engineer group worldwide across all disciplines.
To help ensure Wideblue designs using only the best and most suitable components, Pivot United Kingdom was established. Pivot UK is a sophisticated global supply chain operation that supports our global companies in meeting customers’ expectations on pricing, reliability, and performance and better managing longer-term obsolescence and counterfeiting issues.
